The Highland Endemic Region Foundation joined communities across the region to mark World Malaria Day with a free screening and awareness drive. Teams set up testing points, shared prevention messages, and referred those who needed care to nearby health facilities.
Turnout was strong, with families learning how to protect their households and recognise early symptoms. HERF thanks the volunteers, community health promoters and partners who made the day a success, and reaffirms its commitment to ending malaria in the highland endemic counties.
