Human Rights & Gender Training for Community Health Workers
HERF concluded a Human Rights and Gender training for community health workers drawn from across the highland endemic region. The sessions equipped participants to integrate rights-based and gender-sensitive approaches into everyday health outreach. Facilitators emphasised dignity, non-discrimination and inclusion when reaching vulnerable groups, ensuring that health services are accessible to everyone in the community.
ODSS Training Rolls Out with AMREF Across Highland Counties
In partnership with AMREF Health Africa, HERF rolled out On-Demand Skills Strengthening (ODSS) training to health teams across the highland endemic counties. The programme builds practical capacity in malaria diagnosis, case management and NCD screening.
